Our friend Fr. Francis Gunn has been promoted to Church of Holy Name of Jesus, Manhattan. His promotion is sad for us and the members of the St. Joseph Church but members of Church of Holy Name of Jesus are very fortunate to have him there.
IDC has given a dinner on his honor at a Turkish restaurant.
Although we met him a short time ago, we were able to develop a sound relationship and cooperation that flowered the “Interfaith Prayer Service for the Victims of Tsunami” in February. This event was also a good opportunity for Muslims and Christians to get to know each other and have good conversations. We wish him the best for continued success.
