Dialogue and Unity Dinner at Drew University

E-mail Print PDF

IDC this year is planning to organize several Dialogue and Unity Dinners across New Jersey. The first one will be held at Drew University on Thursday October 8, 2009 in partnership with Center on Religion, Culture & Conflict of Drew University

Because of diverse fabric of New Jersey, this dinner, we believe, is a good opportunity to give message of dialogue, unity, harmony, solidarity and peace in NJ.

New Jersey is one of the most diverse states of the Nation. It is also the gate for most new comers to the US. These factors are making NJ very important.

We strongly believe that this dinner will serve in different ways. For example,
- By coming together, we believe that we show our commitment to promoting mutual understanding, appreciation, and enrichment.
- We also believe this dinner will contribute, in its own way, to America’s continuing celebration of its citizens’ diversity.
- This dinner will at the same time present for a great opportunity for the members of the faiths and communities in New Jersey, as well as the general public, and New Jersey’s governing body to witness constructive dialogue between faith groups and other communities in New Jersey
