Turkish Days in New York” festival will showcase the Anatolian Civilizations, Turkic and Balkan cultures, and traditions, and modern Turkey to all New Yorkers. The festivitieswill start Thursday, September 16th and continue through Wednesday, September 22nd 2010. The festival is organized by the Turkish Cultural Center New York and supported by Council of Turkic American Associations and TABID, the Turkish-American Business Improvement & Development Council.

During the festival, New Yorkers will experience an unforgettable week of Turkish hospitality as they walk through custom-designed world famous Grand Bazaar booths and the panorama view of old Istanbul (Constantinople). Visitors will enjoy the finest Turkic and Balkan Folklore performances, watch three contemporary Turkish movies, explore Turkish arts and crafts, and taste a variety of famous Turkish cuisines.
